DURATION 1952 – 1959

Prof. Dr. Charles Darwin visited the Department of Physics on 1st March, 1954 and a lecture delivered to the students and staff members at old university campus.

In 1955, Prof. Dr. Frank Barendregt (UNESCO Expert in Nuclear Physics) worked as visiting Professor for one year in old university campus, at Princeton Street, Karachi.

Arthur H. Compton (late) and Mrs. Betty Compton (late) visited the Department of Physics at Princeton Street, in the year 1955.

Annual All Pakistan Science Conference, held at old campus of the University of Karachi, Karachi, 1958. His Royal Highness Prince Philip (late) and Prof. Dr. Abdus Salam (late) participated in the conference.
